Chaperones

All of the Doctors and Nurses in this practice are happy for you to have a chaperone when you undergo an intimate examination.

Please let us know if you would like a chaperone and we will arrange for the person to be present. This chaperone may be a family member or friend. Alternatively, you may prefer a formal chaperone to be present, i.e. a trained member of staff.

Please be aware that this may entail some delay until a suitable person is available and, in some cases, you may need to reschedule your appointment.
